WATCHING A GUY like Jacob Elordi on a red carpet wearing a tailored, oversized suit, designer sunglasses and a Cartier watch, it’s easy to get swept up in his mystique and want to replicate his style for yourself. But the clothes and accessories are only part of the package. The hair, the cologne, the skin and the grooming is what sells it.
Now, of course, we can go through the whole “that guy gets paid to look good and he has a whole team of stylists and groomers to look after him” routine, but that would just be making excuses. Yes, guys like Elordi do have some professional help, but they’re only using products that are available to everyone else. And when they’re away from their teams, they still have their own routines and hacks that allow them to look their best.
What’s stopping you from employing the same tactics? Well, gatekeeping can get in the way. Some people (especially in the grooming space) prefer their best kept secrets to stay secret. That said, many of the most well-groomed celebrities have divulged their secrets.
To bring those secrets from the celebs to you, we’ve scoured interviews, reports and Q&As. Here are ten of the world’s most well-groomed men, and the products that have helped them ascend to such a lofty status.
Jacob Elordi
After that intro, we have to begin with Jacob Elordi. The Australian has experimented with some different styles recently, including growing muttonchops for ‘Wuthering Heights’. It’s his hairstyle, however, that’s the key to his well-groomed aesthetic. Commonly known as a mod mullet, it’s now a staple in barbershops.
Elordi’s makeup artist and hairstylist Shannon JJ Williams provided a glimpse into the actor’s grooming routine on Tiktok. Williams said Elordi’s glowing skin comes courtesy of Ole Henriksen Truth Serum. The serum features vitamin C and collagen, which hydrate your skin and can make it appear brighter.
Elordi is also the face of Bleu de Chanel, in case you were wondering what he smells like.
David Beckham

David Beckham has always looked good, but it’s impressive how he has maintained his youthful appearance as he has crossed 50. Now 51, Beckham launched his own range of grooming products in 2018 in partnership with L’Oréal. The line, called House 99, has since disappeared, but it does give us an idea of the products Beckham himself uses. It featured a tattoo moisturising cream, shaping pomade, texturising clay, eye cream and a face moisturiser. He has also mentioned that he uses Tom Ford’s Bronzing Gel.
Austin Butler
Austin Butler (who you might be surprised to learn is about to turn 35) looks like he looks after himself. His beard is well trimmed, and he makes his tousled hair look effortless. We don’t know too much about how he styles his hair, but we do know he wears Yves Saint Laurent Myslf because he’s the ambassador for it. It seems he’s a good match for the scent, which is bright and floral but also blends some woody notes – a layered fragrance for a layered man.
Chris Hemsworth

Despite all his fame, fortune and huge muscles, Chris Hemsworth still gives the vibe of being a laid-back sun-drenched Aussie who spends his spare time at the beach. Part of it can be put down to living that exact lifestyle in his down time, but his grooming routine is similarly laid back. He uses just one do-it-all product for his hair, skin and beard: coconut oil.
“Coconut oil is what I use, I swear to God. On my hair, on my beard, on most of my skin,” he previously told GQ. “My wife also gives me a lot of the Crème de La Mer products, and I want to eat that stuff it smells so damn good. I use a lot of it, because my wife says to me ‘I’m older than you, but I look younger due to this cream.'”
Paul Mescal
Paul Mescal’s mod cut has inspired many a young man to follow suit. But the cut itself is only half the battle – and styling it correctly is just as important. Mescal gives his hair its signature tousled look with a Texturising Sea Spray from Sun Bum, which he revealed to GQ.
Glen Powell
To be well-groomed, you have to really care about grooming. Like, grooming products need to be among the ten things you can’t live without. Case in point, Glen Powell named Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel as one of the ten things he couldn’t live without. As someone who is frequently on the move for work, he said it still helps him get the lift he needs.
Carlos Sainz Jr

Carlos Sainz Jr previously gave us an insight into his grooming routine, which he wasn’t afraid to admit was something he was still figuring out. “If I’m honest, up until recently, I wasn’t very into skincare,” he said. “Maybe just because I was younger and didn’t need to worry about it, I’ve always been a bit of a mess in that sense.”
But now it’s a different story. Sainz has picked up the habit, and it’s become part of his daily routine. “I’ve been learning a lot about the products L’Oréal Paris have and I use them a lot now,” he says. “The Men Expert Hydra Energetic Vit C Serum is part of my day-to-day routine. Apart from that, I use the normal moisturiser in the morning, especially when I shave because I get really dry around [my face] and I try to moisturise as much as possible. And then every night before bed when I shower I use a cleanser.”
Lewis Hamilton

It should come as no surprise that Lewis Hamilton, F1’s most fashionable man, also knows what he’s doing in the grooming department. He told Complex that he typically layers a pair of fragrances – Tom Ford Oud Wood and Maison Margiela By The Fireplace – to get just the right scent.
Jeremy Allen White

Jeremy Allen White has spent a lot of time hovering over steamy pots and hanging around humid kitchens in The Bear. Even so, he still uses an energising moisturiser to give himself an extra glow. His cream of choice? Kiehl’s Facial Fuel.
Michael B. Jordan

Michael B. Jordan had a busy start to the year, collecting a whole bunch of awards for his role in Sinners. That meant spending plenty of time on red carpets and ample opportunity for a grooming mishap. Jordan managed to get through awards season unscathed, though, thanks in no small part due to his go-to product for glowing skin, Chanel’s Sublimage Le Baume face balm – as revealed by his makeup artist Tasha Reiko Brown.
