Apple Just A Released An Extremely Red Phone And It’s For A Good Cause

Buying a new smartphone is a big investment, especially if you have to commit to a two-year plan. But Apple may have just made that decision a little easier.

On Monday, Apple announced it will be releasing a special edition red iPhone 8 and 8 plus in collaboration with Product ( RED). The partnership aims to help eliminate the threat of HIV/AIDS in Africa through testing, education and medicine where a percentage of proceeds will go towards charities.

Last year’s red edition of the iPhone 7 and current RED accessories raised over $210 million.

Apart from the iPhone, Apple Watch wrist bands, iPhone cases, headphones and speakers are available in red.

For more information, you can head to the Apple website with a full range of products available and how to pre-order.
