THE INCREASING POPULARITY of Hyrox means everyone is looking at ways they can improve their time. And with 8km of running and eight different stations interspersed throughout – not to mention the equally important ‘Roxzone’ – there’s plenty of opportunities to both make up and lose time over the course of an event.
But how does your time compare to the average on the SkiErg, sled push or wall balls? Data compiled from both the pro and open divisions allows for simple comparison with your fellow competitors, while an expert currently at the top of the sport has offered his guidance on how to get faster.
What is the average Hyrox finish time for men?
According to RoxHype, the average Hyrox finish time across men of all ages in the pro division is 1:22:24 in 2025, with Alexander Roncevic’s world record of 53:15 set in Hamburg 2025 blitzing that in remarkable fashion.
When it comes to the open division, where weights are lighter and more accessible to men of all ages and abilities, the average finishing time is 1:26:42.
What is the average time for each Hyrox station?
With Hyrox races featuring eight challenging stations, plus 8km of total running and even time in the Roxzone, there’s plenty of variance between the pro and open divisions. These are the average times it takes men to complete all the stations in each division:
