A breathwork and ice bath singles mixer is coming to Bondi Beach

Looking to revitalise your dating life? A breathwork and ice bath mixer for wellness-minded singles could be the opportunity you've been waiting for

IN 2025, singles are leaving dating apps behind as we all look to re-establish real-life connections in a post-Covid world. At the same time, health and wellness events have emerged as a great place to meet a like-minded partner. Run clubs have already helped fill the void left by the dating app exodus, often serving as unofficial dating clubs, and now those of us who dabble in ice baths and breathwork will be given a similar opportunity.

Singles club Unwritten is partnering with Conscious Community to host Australia’s largest breathwork and ice bath singles mixer. The event, scheduled to begin at 6:45am on Saturday March 15 right on Bondi Beach, is open to singles of all ages and is LGBTQIA+ inclusive.

The event will begin with a restorative breathwork and sound bath session, guided by Conscious Community. This will be followed by an ice bath experience and an ocean swim. With the wellness events out of the way, attendees will then head to Glory Days cafe where they will be paired with their match, as determined by Unwritten’s matchmaking software, for a meet cute over coffee.

“Unwritten is all about crafting unique experiences that bring singles together in a way that feels natural, fun, and meaningful,” said Laura-Jane Hawkins, founder of Unwritten. “Whether you’re enjoying something you love or stepping outside your comfort zone to try something new, this event is about connection in its purest form. I’m incredibly excited to see how many singles we can bring together on Bondi Beach. Our collaboration with Conscious Community offers a completely different way to meet someone—one that’s focused on shared energy, wellness, and adventure.”

The mixer is ticketed. Get your tickets and find more information here.
