Chris Hemsworth Debuts New Seedy 70s Porn Moustache

Australia’s sweetheart Chris Hemsworth, aka The God of Thunder, has debuted an interesting new look over the past week whilst filming in Canada. Reportedly for a new project, Bad Times at the El Royale, the handlebar mo’ is a departure from his (or anyone’s) conventional style.

“Tryin to find the look for Bad Times at the El Royale written and directed by Drew Goddard,” Hemsworth said in an Instagram post while debuting the look. “I shot one of my first films with Drew a few years back called Cabin in the Woods. He’s one of my favorite people and one of the most talented in the game, this script blew my mind and the films gonna do the same.” Hemsworth then signed off the video with the hashtag #dirtymo. Correct.

However, the traditionally unpopular look has been met with overwhelming positivity from Hemsworth followers. The video, viewed over 3 million times in less than a week, has attracted a wave of positive comments. Could this usher in a new style for men around the world? If anyone was to set such a benchmark, it would surely be a Hemsworth.

A recent study conducted by Charles Sturt University surveyed almost 4000 women on the subject of facial hair, and it turns out Thor may be onto something. According to study author Dr. Danielle Sulikowski, men with facial hair are 15 -20 per cent more attractive than their clean-shaven counterparts.

That’s because facial hair is a sign of masculinity, says Sulikowski.

This could certainly be the case for Hemsworth, who has been living pretty ruggedly while in Canada, surfing in sub-freezing temperatures. Either way, judging by the reaction to his new look, it may be time to reach for the razor and embrace your inner 70’s porn star.

Get ahead of the trend early and try these tips to grow your own ‘stache.
