In his Toulouse apartment, Elisha Nochomovitz ran 42km in a time of six hours and 48 minutes.

The 32-year-old shared the footage online, where he completed 6000 laps.

“I wanted to bring something playful to the containment. I saw pictures of people going out of their homes for jogging,” he told HuffPost France

“But if everyone does the same, we will all end up outside. Part of my goal was to kill as much time as possible.”

Not content with his current time, Nochomovits has set his sights on setting a new PB.

“How about another marathon to improve my record. Or a 12-hour home trainer session, on my balcony?” He added.

France is currently in a 15-day lockdown with the potential for it to be extended.

Why I Run: Trent Knox

In 2016, Trent Knox founded the 440 Run Club, a group who meet each Saturday morning at 5am at Sydney’s Bronte beach. While the club has been pivotal in Knox’s sobriety journey, this year he began training for events like the Sydney Marathon and fell in love with running all over again
