Prepare your stomachs – Dr Sanda Lee (AKA Dr Pimple Popper) has just shared a video in which she removes an enormous lipoma from her patient’s shoulder. And we can’t look away.
Lee explains that a lipoma is a slow-developing, benign growth of fat cells contained in thin, fibrous capsule under the skin. She describes her patient’s mass as a “shoulder boulder” located, you guessed it, on her shoulder.
The removal required a significant incision under local anaethesia, through which its contents could be “popped” out. You can watch for yourself below.
