On Thursday, Drake had his phone out and had to hit them angles with a shirtless post he captioned “I forget what it’s called but I remember the feeling.”

The rapper’s six-pack abs were on full display, as his fans gave him major props for his shredded abs. “You must be recording the next album in the gym? ???? grind timeeeee,” said one Instagram follower, while another commented “Ok I’m about to go to the gym, motivation motivation my brother.” However not everyone was convinced the “Hotline Bling” rapper’s abs were sculpted at the gym.

“You got fake ab surgery in Colombia you ain’t foolin anybody,” remarked DJ Carnage in a comment that received over 20,000 likes.

Uh oh. Maybe this is “the feeling” Drake was referring to? Well, if he forgot what it’s called, Carnage called him out with this reminder.

Drake quickly fired back “Is this cause you are angry about the one thing that happened with that one person the other day that you thought was your wifey,” to which Carnage replied “DONT YOU DAREEEEE!!!!!”.

Is this a social media battle in the making? Definitely not. These two have a deep bromance and even spent Easter Sunday together.

Even though this was all fun and games, you might remember back in 2016 when Joe Budden started beef with Drake and his chiseled abs with a diss track called “Afraid” and a tweet claiming the Canadian rapper saw “Dr. Miami.”

So, what’s the truth? Did Drake go under the knife for risky abdominal etching? Drake’s trainer killed the accusation commenting to Carnage “holla at me I’ll get you right too.” In fact, Drake has credited his trainer with other shirtless selfies in the past.

If you start from the bottom (of Drake’s instagram), you’ll end up here.

And here where Drake is caught flexing his bod back in 2015:

Whether the rapper went under the knife or just leveled-up his fitness game, he’s showin’ off, and it’s alright, it’s a short life. Flex on, Drake, flex on.
