Great sex can be all in the timing. You might tell your mates you go for hours. You might secretly hope you could hold on until the end of your favourite song.
But how long should a bonk normally last?
A study by the University of Queensland asked 500 couples to time how long their love-making lasted – starting the timer at penetration and hitting stop at ejaculation.
The result? The study found sheet time lasts anywhere from 33 seconds to 44 minutes, with a median of 5.4 minutes.
