These Are The Most Popular Sneakers, According To Instagram

Social media is a great tool for identifying trending topics and hot product drops, especially when it comes to the world of fashion. And with 800 million users, Instagram has quickly become one of the largest platforms to get your daily dose of inspiration.

With a community four times the size of the United States population, you’d have to be pretty top property to rise to the top on Instagram, which is exactly what these famous sneakers have done.

Thanks to sneaker-boys worldwide, and statistics released by courier company Forward2me, we now know what the most popular trainers on the ‘Gram are; Adidas NMDs. Clocking in with a very respectable 5.7 millions tags, the shoes truly are the king of the sneaker game.

The AU$140 NMD’s are in a league of their own, with over 1.6 million tags more than their nearest competitor.

Proving they really do have the sneaker game mastered, second and fourth place also went to Adidas.

In second, with 4.1 million tags, were the Yeezy 350’s, a limited edition release with long time collaborator Kanye West, whilst Adidas Superstars, first released in 1969, ranked in fourth.

Further showing that classics never go out of style and rounding out the top 5 most instagramable sneakers, the coveted third and fifth placings went to old school Vans and Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars respectively.
