When you think of the world’s most valuable clothing brands, what comes to mind? Household luxury names you can expect to see on a fashion strip in Milan or the signature logos behind the world’s richest sports teams and players?
Valuation and strategy consulting firm Brand Finance has settled the debate, revealing the top 50 most valuable apparel brands in the world this year.
Despite the recent on-court dramas ( a certain shoe exploding), Nike has retained his position at the top of the list, increasing in value by 16 per cent.
The biggest movers were Christian Dior and Uniqlo, increasing by 56.7 per cent and 48.1 per cent respectively while Swedish retailer H&M had a year to forget, losing 16 per cent of it’s value.
Unfortunately, luxury Aussie brand R.M.Williams didn’t feature with the international powerhouses.
