It’s no secret that singer-songwriters will often turn to their real-life experiences for musical inspiration.
But a song written by country crooner Keith Urban has left his wife, actress Nicole Kidman, a little embarrassed.

Keith Urban’s song Gemini from his 2018 album Graffiti U was written about Nicole, and the lyrics get a little risque, with Urban singing: “She’s a maniac in the bed, but a brainiac in the head.”
And in an interview with the Kyle and Jackie O Show, Kidman was asked how she felt about the lyrics.
“I don’t censor his art, if I can be a muse for it,” Kidman said.
“It is embarrassing, but at the same time, it’s better than saying, ‘God, I’m so bored. Make an effort, Nicole.'”
“It’s not like he said you’re a dud in the bedroom. Then I’d be censoring it,” added Jackie O.
Later in the song, Urban also sings: “She’s waking to make love in the middle of the night.”
And when Kyle Sandilands questioned her about those lyrics, Nicole replied: “No, what?! You’re making that up, Kyle. Shut up. I’m not answering that, that’s outrageous.”
Despite the embarrassment, it’s nice to see a celebrity couple still as smitten as ever – even after 13 years of marriage.
