KIWI ONLYFANS creator and porn star, Layla Kelly recently started creating content with regular men and she’s got a message for them: “You’re doing it wrong.”
Layla says unrealistic portrayals online have given regular guys a warped sense of reality when it comes to pleasure, confidence, and performance.
“Men show up thinking they can perform like the professionals they’ve seen online but the reality is very different,” she says. “They copy what they see in commercial porn, but the problem is, staged and scripted content is nothing like real life.”
Layla, voted New Zealand’s best porn star two years in a row, says performance anxiety is a growing issue, and she’s seen firsthand how the pressure to be an ‘alpha’ performer leads to disappointment.

“They think they need to look a certain way and last forever but most professional actors are using enhancements. It’s unrealistic. Guys come in overconfident, then struggle to perform because they’re out of their comfort zone.”
But Layla says it’s not their fault. It’s what they’ve been conditioned to believe.
“A lot of men put so much pressure on themselves to ‘perform’ that they don’t actually focus on pleasure–either theirs or their partner’s.”
Layla has seen firsthand how this impacts men’s confidence, but she’s also seen how education and a more realistic approach can change everything.
“I love helping men feel more confident and comfortable in their own skin. When they stop trying to imitate what they’ve seen and start focusing on real connection, everything changes.”
Layla says men are grateful for the experience and even come back to tell her how it’s helped them in their real lives.
“One guy messaged me a week later saying he used what I taught him on a partner and she had an experience like never before.”
Layla is passionate about normalising real, authentic intimacy and breaking down the myths that are holding men back.
