A dietician has suggested that pizza may be a more balanced breakfast option than a bowl of sugary cereal and milk.
While the average slice of pizza still isn’t ‘healthy’, it’s still lower in sugar than most cereals and packs a larger protein punch which helps us to feel fuller for longer, U.S-based Chelsey Amer claims.

Despite this, Amer emphasised that she isn’t recommending pizza as an “everyday breakfast” but is urging people to think more about the nutritional value of the food they’re putting into their bodies.
“Focus on a balance of high fibre carbohydrates, lean protein, and healthy fast to stay full throughout the morning,” she added.
