WHEN THE WORLD’S best tennis players descend on Melbourne this January, they’ll do so surrounded by a touch of luxury. Ralph Lauren has been announced as the Official Outfitter of the 2026 Australian Open, returning for its sixth consecutive year at the Grand Slam and once again proving that sport and style are a natural match.
The partnership will see the American fashion house outfit up to 4,000 staff, from ball kids and umpires to court-side crews. Expect the usual sophisticated attire like polo shirts and jackets, with a sporty edge like moisture-wicking fabrics and built-in UV protection.
For 2026, the Australian Open Collection channels the tournament’s sun-soaked energy, The collection’s colour palette nods to the blue courts and summer vibrancy of Melbourne in January. Sustainability remains a major focus too. The ball kids’ polos are made from recycled polyester yarns, ensuring the look is as smart for the planet as it is for the court.
Ralph Lauren’s influence will also be felt beyond apparel. For the second consecutive year, the brand returns as the Official Sunglasses Partner of the Australian Open, providing eyewear for all ground crew, match officials, and ball kids. This is an important duty because, as anyone who’s sat through an AO day session will know, the Australian summer sun means business.
Off the court, Ralph Lauren continues to spotlight inclusivity through its ongoing role as presenting partner of the Glam Slam, an LGBTQIA+ community event hosted by the Gay and Lesbian Tennis Alliance during the tournament. It’s a celebration of diversity, sport, and self-expression. All are values that sit comfortably within Ralph Lauren’s playbook.
Fans can also get in on the action thanks to the brand’s Create-Your-Own (CYO) customisation program, returning to Melbourne Park for AO26. The activation lets visitors add their initials or tennis-inspired motifs to classic Polo pieces. The program will also be available online, so even those watching from afar can join in on the fun.
Rounding out the collection is a new line of commemorative towels, available from October 2025, while the full Australian Open range will drop in November, both online at ralphlauren.com and in stores.
With Ralph Lauren’s return, the 2026 Australian Open is shaping up to be the most stylish Grand Slam yet.
