RELATIONSHIPS SHAPE almost every part of our lives. The people we love, date, marry, call when something goes wrong and celebrate with when something goes right have an enormous influence on how we feel – and yet, staying connected can sometimes be the very thing that gets pushed aside when life gets busy.

That’s what we wanted to explore in our Relationships Issue. Our Men’s Health cover star Josh Daicos has become one of the best players in the AFL with help from those closest to him in his life: dad Peter, brother Nick and partner Annalise. As he told us, whatever your field, to make it to the top, you need a hell of a support crew.

We also look at relationships from every angle. From the conversations that can bring couples closer and the rituals that keep connection alive, to sex, intimacy and the relationships we have with ourselves.
