The Most Sexually Active City In The World Has Been Revealed

Research has revealed the most sex-positive cities in the world and the results might surprise you.

Adult mobile app Laveeza conducted the study of over 450,000 people aged 18 – 70 years old, across 200 cities to determine whether their home had “an open, tolerant, or aggressive attitude towards sex and sexuality”.

The survey looked at ten different categories including sexual activity, sexual experimentation, sexual satisfaction, sex toy consumption, porn consumption, adult entertainment, swinger culture, access to contraception, LGBT friendliness and gender equality.

The results were then combined with sexual health reports on each country, compiled by the World Health Organisation and the World Bank.

The top 10:

  1. Paris
  2. Rio de Janeiro
  3. London
  4. Los Angeles
  5. Berlin
  6. New York City
  7. Sao Paulo
  8. Las Vegas
  9. Ibiza Town
  10. Amsterdam

Paris did well in the swinger, adult entertainment categories, while Rio de Janeiro topped the sexually experimental and sexually active categories. London came in number one for LGBT friendliness, and Los Angeles got the highest score for porn production. Berlin won the swingers section and Las Vegas dominated the adult entertainment area.

Although no Australian cities made the top ten, some did place in the top 100. Melbourne came in at 17th place, followed by Sydney at 47th, Brisbane at 50th, Perth at 57th and Adelaide at 58th.
