Of Course, The Rock Beats Jet Lag By Going To The Gym

Some people settle for a siesta, others stay out as late as possible. But The Rock battles jet lag the only way he knows how: crushing a gym session.

The Hobbs & Shaw actor, who is currently on a press tour, took the Instagram to offer some advice to other frequent flyers.

“No matter how many hours I’ve flown, no matter how many miles I’ve travelled, regardless of what country it is, the first thing I need to do to get ready for the work day is I gotta find the gym,” he says in his latest video.

“I need to find my local Iron Paradise. This, working out every day, is my anchor. Life is so crazy and busy for me, and for you guys too, like we’re on this treadmill that just doesn’t stop and continues to go, so I do need working out to anchor my day. It helps me balance myself.

“It drives your system to adjust to the local time zones, combats jet lag and helps balance and anchor you so you can start your work day with great productivity and value.”

And finding a gym isn’t an excuse either. The Rock has been known to relocate his gym wherever he travels, including Hawaii for his roles in Jumanji as well as the Fast & Furious spin-off.

His latest flick has been a huge success. Hobbs & Shaw raked in over US$60 million on its opening weekend
