If you’re a firm believer that science is always right, then the most beautiful woman in the world has officially been crowned. The winner? None other than Bella Hadid.
According to the Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi – a measure of physical perfection that dates back to ancient Greece – the 23-year-old was found to have a 94.35 per cent ‘perfect face’.
The measurements include: eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jaw and facial shape.
Hadid wasn’t the only one who came close to a perfect score. Beyoncé came in with a 92.44 per cent march while Amber Heard followed in third at 91.85 per cent.
The ratings were recorded from a computerised mapping technique used by cosmetic surgeon Dr Juian De Silva.
“Bella Hadid was the clear winner when all elements of the face were measured for physical perfection,” Dr De Silva, who runs the London-based Centre For Advanced Facial Cosmetic And Plastic Surgery, told Harpers Bazaar.

“She had the highest overall reading for her chin which, with a score of 99.7 percent, is only 0.3 percent away from being the perfect shape. Bella also came second behind Scarlett Johansson for the positioning of her eyes.
“Beyoncé ran her a close second, scoring the highest marks for the shape of her face (99.6 percent) and getting very high scores for her eyes, brow area and lips.
“These brand new computer mapping techniques allow us to solve some of the mysteries of what it is that makes someone physically beautiful and the technology is useful when planning patients’ surgery.”
