Study Reveals The Time of the Week That’s Most Popular For Sex

Timing is everything, especially when it comes to sex. If it’s too early, too late, or she’s just not feeling it anymore – finding the right time is half the battle.

But you don’t have to wonder anymore, as U.K. store Superdrug conducted a study to find out the best – and the worst – times to have sex.

It’s important to take into account this study only surveyed couples in relationships. If they surveyed singles, there’s no doubt their favourite time would be 4 a.m. after one too many vodka shots.

After surveying 2,000 people, the results showed the most popular time of the week to have sex is 9 a.m. on Sunday mornings. We understand this might be a little early for some, but the early bird catches the worm, right?

But overall, the most popular day to have sex is Saturday, with the times of 11:30 a.m., 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. also polling well.

Weekdays on the other hand were far less exciting, with the least popular time for sex going to Tuesday at 9 p.m., with 5.30 p.m. also finishing down in the dumps. No one enjoys an after-work romp, it seems.

In saying that, pre-work sex wasn’t a huge hit, either. Monday at 8 a.m. and Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. also featured in the least favourite times, and we’ll probably put that down to morning breath alone.

So if you want to get lucky and don’t want to be let down, Saturday’s and early Sunday morning are the best times to make your move.
