Entering the world of health and fitness can be a daunting arena, but news flash it actually doesn’t take rocket science to get the results you’re after. You just need to get organised! Here are the four basic habits that will help you hit your long-term goals.

1\ Get moving

Any exercise is good exercise. This is obvious. But whether you’re pounding the pavement or making #gainz in the gym, the key thing is consistency. Why not make it a habit and start your days with a sweat sesh? It’ll get your body firing on all cylinders, and the endorphins you release will put you in a better mood for when you have to deal with Karen from Sales. The best part is, it doesn’t really matter what you’re doing – as long as you’re enjoying it. The largest and most extensive study of its kind found even one hour of working out each week can improve mental health, which leads us to the next point…

2\ Get mindful

It’s not all about how your body looks – it’s also about your mindset. Instead of hitting the ‘snooze’ button 5 times in the morning, spend 10 minutes meditating. Numerous studies have found it can reduce stressmanage anxiety, increase productivity, make you a nicer personhelp weight lossmotivate you to exercise and help you make healthier food choices. All of these perks will help you see real, permanent change not just mentally, but physically too.

3\ Focus on food

This might be the most important habit of all. If you’re not giving your body the fuel it needs, it won’t run smoothly. Organising your meal prep at the start of the week will make your life so much easier, as will tailoring your food intake to suit your lifestyle. Many people are turning to a Ketogenic diet because it helps you burn fat as energy throughout the day, enhances your mental alertness, and energy levels, and crucially, keeps you feeling fuller for longer. Taking on the Keto diet doesn’t have to be daunting either. FatBlaster Keto-Fit has a whole range of shakes, tablets and oils which can be incorporated into your daily routine, making the job easier, helping you make a permanent switch to a healthier and cleaner way of eating.

4\ Go to sleep!

We get it. It’s tough out here for a young professional. You might be working numerous jobs just to make ends meet, but don’t sacrifice your sleep! There’s plenty of research highlighting the strong relationship between sleep problems and anxiety and depression, but it’s also crucial to helping your body repair itself and grow.  Even with an eating plan, if you’re not getting enough sleep, you could be wasting much of your time and effort in the gym. Sleep boosts your energy levels, and helps produce growth hormone. Working enough sleep into your daily routine is a total game changer.
