Man’s Penis Starts Rotting After It’s Bitten During Sex

Nothing makes you clench your bits up quite like hearing about a painful sex injury and this one is a real doozy.

A paper published in the Visual Journal of Emergency Medicine has detailed the case in which a 43-year-old man had the tip of his penis (also known as the glans) bitten by his significant other during sex.

Over five days, the seemingly insignificant wound worsened in pain and began to turn black. That’s when the US-native presented at the emergency room where doctors diagnosed the tissue as necrotic, which basically means the cells had died.

We’re not going to publish the graphic image but head here to check it out, if that floats your boat.

You’ll be glad to hear than the man didn’t lose the infected appendage and antibiotics worked their magic. A month later the member was back to its original shade however he did suffer ‘minimal glans penis deformity’.

Given that he could have died if the infection has spread further, a bit of new topography is probably the best case scenario. But the main takeaway from the paper is always see a medical professional ASAP.
