Ed Sheeran Hit Justin Bieber in The Face With a Golf Club While Blind Drunk | Men’s Health Magazine Australia

Ed Sheeran has given us all another reason to envy him (as if his angelic voice wasn’t enough): Sheeran fulfilled every man’s dream and hit Justin Bieber over the head with a golf club.

While this is the ultimate fantasy for a lot of guys out there, Sheeran actually got the chance to do it himself. What makes it funnier (or perhaps more depressing) is that Sheeran and Bieber are actually close friends.

While we’d love to report that Sheeran attacked Bieber in a murderous rage, that simply didn’t happen. Which leaves the only other explanation: alcohol.

One night when the two were hanging out in Japan, Bieber challenged Sheeran to hit a golf ball out of his mouth – yes, Bieber actually challenged Sheeran.

But as you can imagine, a combination of two young rockstars, alcohol, partying in another country and golf clubs didn’t end well.

“We’d been out to a dive bar. [Justin] just drank water and I got hammered,” Sheeran told the Guardian. “Then we went to a golf course, and he lay on the floor and put a golf ball in his mouth and told me to hit it out of his mouth. I was like, ‘F—, I need to aim this properly,’ and I swung.”

Let us just reiterate once more – Bieber was sober this entire time. And it was in the moment Sheeran, and probably mostly Bieber, realised the huge mistake they’d just made when Sheeran’s driver cracked into the side of Justin’s mouth.

“You know in films when someone gets punched, and you hear that fake sound, like a slap? But in real life, when someone gets punched, you hear that dull thud, a bit sickening? I heard a sound like the last one.”
