This Skateboard Workout Is An Absolute Core Crusher

Trainer Jay T. Maryniak is using his trusty four-wheeled companion for a killer core workout in the comfort of his own space and our abs already hurt from watching the footage.

“If you have a board then definitely get after these movements,” Maryniak wrote in the post’s caption. “Your core will be torched after these!”

Maryniak’s skateboard workout includes variations on a sliding plank walkout and a sliding pulldown – similar to mountain climbers, ab rollers and typical pilate moves with a focus on your core stability. When you’re giving it a crack, make your you keep your spine neutral and slow down the movement to keep yourself stable.

You don’t need a skateboard for this particular workout, you can use anything that slides like paper on a wooden floor.
