Son Buys Dad His Dream Car For Christmas, Dad Cries, Everyone Cries

Like gorgeous women, men pursue their dream cars for entire lifetimes. And what happens if you finally find your ride after decades of searching? Well, you probably break down crying in the parking lot of a Piggly Wiggly.

This week, the 1955 Chevy Bel Air reduced grown men (not excluding the Men’s Health staff) to tears when The AngryGrandpa Show posted a video of a man being reunited with his childhood dream car half a century after he owned it.

The YouTube series usually follows the relationship between a guy and his grumpy dad, who destroys PlayStation 4s and pulls condoms over his head on camera. But Angry Grandpa himself has a soft spot for one thing and one thing only: The ‘55 Bel Air.

He had a red one at age 16, until his sister drove it to California and scrapped it when it broke down.

In this video, the son walks Angry Grandpa through the parking lot of a Piggly Wiggly, where they “serendipitously” stroll past a red ‘55 Bel Air. Angry Grandpa gets emotional and recounts the story of his lost love on camera before snapping a picture with the car and going home.

Back at their house, the son walks Angry Grandpa out to the driveway, where the Bel Air from the parking lot rolls up – awaiting its new owner.

We’re not crying. You’re crying.
