Dating profiles of people who stated that they’d save most of a financial windfall were deemed 36 per cent more desirable than profiles of those who’d spend it.
Saving shows self-control, says study author Dr Scott Rick, but spending can signal rash behaviours like belligerence or cheating.
So don’t be a tight-arse, but do point out your smart-money ways.
