Vladimir Putin Ends Russian Sex Ban Talk

Imagine waking up and being told you couldn’t do the deed? That could have well been the case had president Vladamir Putin not stepped in.

On Friday, Russian politician Tamara Pletnyova advised Russian women to avoid getting sexually involved with travelling fans watching the world cup.

And that was enough for the Russian President to step in, declaring that Russian women could make their own decisions.

“All countries accuse each other of racism, homophobia,” said Putin’s spokesman, Dmitry Peskov.

“This has nothing to do with the World Cup. As for the women of Russia, they can handle anything themselves.”

The hosts started the tournament brightly after defeating Saudi Arabia 5-0. More reason for fans to get frisky?
