Watch World’s Strongest Men Eddie Hall And Brian Shaw Train Together

Four-time World’d Strongest Man winner, Brian Shaw was joined by Eddie Hall at his home gym, with the pair completing a gruelling training session.

That sound you hear isn’t an earthquake—it’s two world-class strongman hitting the gym together.

Eddie Hall and Brian Shaw are both legends in the world of competitive strength sports. British athlete and world record breaker Eddie Hall won the World’s Strongest Man competition in 2017, at which point the US-based Shaw had claimed the title no fewer than four times in 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2016.

In a new video on his YouTube channel, Hall paid a visit to the fully-equipped gym that Shaw has built in the garage at his home in Brighton, Colorado, to catch up with his old pal and fellow strongman—and pump a little bit of iron at the same time.

They start off the shoulder workout with the dumbbell press, during which Hall can’t help but let his shirt ride up to show off the abs he has sculpted through his recent boxing training—but he also finds that he struggles with Shaw’s “fat” dumbbells. “We only did five sets, I feel like I’ve done ten sets,” he says. “It’s that much harder to stabilize. It’s worked the muscle a lot harder.” They follow that with incline bench press, and a super set of rear delt flys and dumbbell side raises.

Hall has redirected his efforts elsewhere over the last couple of years, overhauling his training routine and diet, shedding over 120 pounds and building a leaner, faster physique all as part of his mission to become a professional boxer—although he maintains his raw power in addition to new and improved levels of agility and endurance.

Shaw, meanwhile, returned to the World’s Strongest Man podium in 2021, finishing in second place behind current champion Tom Stoltman. This marked Shaw’s 13th time in the World’s Strongest Man final, a new record among professional strongmen.
