Couples Who Get Drunk Together Are Happier and Have Better Sex, Says Amazing New Study

A successful first date is often defined by the chemistry. You can often tell within the first thirty minutes if you can see it going anywhere and whether or not you’ll want to see them again.

It’s no secret that the (sometimes awkward) process of a first date is made easier by the sacred potion otherwise known as alcohol. But it turns out that alcohol is not only the thing that gets you through first dates, but also the secret behind getting more.

Yes, that’s right – an amazing new study has revealed that couples who drink together, stay together.

Published in the Journals of Gerontology Series B: Psychological Series, the study found that couples who consume alcohol together report being far happier and have better sex than couples who opt for the tonic water.

The study surveyed 4,864 married people and asked the participants how often and how much they drink each time they pop a bottle. Only asking the important questions, as you can see.

The results showed that it didn’t really matter what or how much they drank, but the crucial thing was that they drank together

But if you’re perfectly happy staying sober with your partner, don’t let us tell you otherwise. Whatever you do to stay happy is fine, as long as it’s done together.

That doesn’t make drunk sex any less awesome, though.
