According to University of Westminster study, the more muscular you are, the more likely you are to be hostile towards women and hold old-fashioned gender views.

 

After interviewing 327 men, the researchers found men who reported being intimidated and threatened by women turned to the gym to deal with their insecurities. 

 

“We think men who hold oppressive believes about women and gender equality are also more likely to endorse traditional stereotypes of masculinity, which includes the muscular physique,” say the study authors.
