Tropical Lime Protein Balls

Proudly supported by

The year is well and truly in full swing and even though the Summer fun has wrapped up, we still have a little left that we can hold onto. Take some of the flavours of your Summer break to work with you in these tropical lime bliss balls.

The recipe is a fresher take on protein balls, ditching the heavy chocolate and vanilla flavours and options for a lighter lime flavour. Made with Organic Fusion from the Natural Health Company, they not only contain protein, but a superfoods blend delivering a powerful hit of nutrients to boost immunity and aide digestion.

Get stuck into these and have snacks ready to go for a week at work!

Ingredients

  • 2 scoops ORGANIC FUSION Tropical
  • 2/3 cup dried pineapple
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1 cup almond meal
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon lime rind (finely grated)
  • 3 tablespoons of water (add more if required)

For a vegan option, replace honey with agave nectar

Method

    • Chop the dried pineapple into small pieces for bursts of flavour.

    • Place the dried pineapple and remaining ingredients (leave extra coconut for rolling the balls) into a large bowl and mix until well combined.

    • Scoop a heaped tablespoon of the mixture and roll into a ball using your hands.

    • Roll each ball into the remaining desiccated coconut to coat. Place the ball on a tray and repeat until all the mixture is used.

    • Pop the tray of Bliss Balls into the fridge until ready to eat!
