Channing Tatum Has Responded To Divorce By Getting Jacked AF

Channing Tatum has had a rough year, kicking off 2018 with the announcement that he was splitting with wife Jenna Dewan. However if his recent promo trip to London, for his Magic Mike LIVE show, the American has been hitting the gym big time.

Despite the bad news and rough times, it seems that Tatum is going about treating his broken-heart with textbook precision. In the past few months since news of the break-up, well, broke, Channing has been sticking to the strict workout routine that saw him beef up for Magic Mike and GI Joe. And according to a study published in the US National Library of Medicine, this is the trick to coping with stressful life events… such as losing Ms Dewan.

According to the research, Tatum’s workouts, and launching his Magic Mike LIVE show in the UK, are providing the necessary physiological response to disrupt the link between his break up and a variety of resulting negative effects, such as mood problems, difficulties sleeping, trouble concentrating and dealing with stress.

Tatum’s trainer, Arin Babaian, shared his workout routine when talking with Alpha, and the routine is textbook. Starting the day with 30 minutes of fasted cardio (anything from swimming to biking), Tatum then eats and hits the weights, focusing on one specific muscle group per day.

Tatum then reportedly finished the day with an 8-12km run, every day, in order to speed up fat loss. This final piece of the Tatum puzzle comes in the form of some HIIT circuits, according to Barbaian.
