An amazing gourmet dinner or mind-boggling sex – which would you choose from the menu? According to a study released by Eaters Digest, the majority of women would rather have their taste buds stimulated, not their clitoris.
The researchers surveyed almost 12,000 people between the ages of 18 and 55 and asked them, “Which feels better, eating or having sex?” The result? Most women said that food can be as good as sex.
42 per cent of the women said they’d rather go out for a delicious meal than stay at home for delicious love-making. In contrast, only 26 per cent of men chose food over sex. This does not surprise us.
An additional 31 per cent of women chose the neutral option – rating food and sex the same – which means that less than 1 in 4 women would opt for sex over a meal.
“Part of the allure of food is that it offers endless opportunities for experimentation and new experiences,” the researchers said. Maybe these women just got the rough end of the stick when it came to lovers.
