It’s no secret that professional sports can, at times, get heated.
But the all-in brawl between the Washington Nationals and San Francisco Giants took the biff to a whole other level.
Bryce Harper and Hunter Strickland were the players who started the scuffle that was sparked when Strickland hit Harper in the hip with a pitch.
Harper responded by charging the mound, throwing his bat and helmet and attacking Strickland.
Both players were ejected from the game – not without the help of multiple teammates.
