STUDY: Nice Guys Have More Sex

Nice guys may finish last – but they do have more sex.

A recent study published in the British Journal of Psychology surveyed 105 men and 192 women about their altruistic habits, including how often they gave to charities, helped out their neighbours and donated blood.

After comparing participants’ responses and their self-reported sexual history, researchers found that people who scored higher on the altruism survey were likely to have had more sexual partners.

Although the results may be flawed with over-reporting as researchers were relying on an accurate account from the participants sexual history AND their good deeds, there really isn’t a reason not to give to charities, mow your neighbours lawn or give a little blood more often.

Worse comes to worse, you’ll have a little more sex – as the saying goes: “you’ll catch more flies with honey…”
