Watch The Rock’s Beast Mode Workout For Gym Inspiration

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is at it again, this time with an upper body killer titled, “The Rock’s Ultimate Workout.” As this video shows, there’s no secret to The Rock’s success. As he says at the beginning of this video, “Blood, sweat and respect… you give the first two. The last one you earn.”

The Rock’s Ultimate Workout starts with some core work and mobility — planks, leg raises, shoulder stretching and resistance band work. Seems easy enough. But then The Rock hits the cable machine and gets after it in a way only The Rock could. Anyone could justify stopping after that set and calling it a solid workout. But Johnson’s just getting started.

The video moves on to hitting the machines and dumbbells, nailing everything from lat pull-downs to chest presses. Then, of course, some chain work with some dips. Johnson rounds it out with some intermittent core work to break up this upper body shredder.

Think you could handle The Rock’s Ultimate Workout?
