How Ed Sheeran Is Helping More Guys Get Laid

Remember picking on the red-haired kid at school for being a ginger? Well a recent survey in the UK has found that carrottops are killing it in the dating game thanks to ‘the Ed Sheeran effect’.

The poll, conducted by Casumo.com, revealed that one in five 25 to 34-year-old ‘rangas’ are getting far more attention ever since Sheeran started dominating our playlists.

Interestingly, since the singer first rose to fame, the hair colour jokes have stopped as well. The study, which included 175 red-haired men and 1000 women, also showed that 25 per cent agreed that the Irish pop artist caused red heads to be seen in a better light.

One in 20 women listed red as their preferred hair colour.

“It’s unsurprising that red-heads are attracting more attention now than in previous years,” says a spokesperson for the online gambling website. “Fiery red locks are more popular among both male and female celebs with stars like Emma Stone and Isla Fisher leading that way for red-headed women.”

If you’re concerned with appearance, find out how to become better looking as you age.
