Liam Payne Shows Off Impressive Rig And Strength On Instagram | Men's Health Magazine Australia

PSA: Liam Payne Is Still Insanely Ripped

It’s been five months since musician Liam Payne starred on the cover of Men’s Health, but he certainly hasn’t taken a backward step. Despite admitting he’s had a few weekend blowouts, the Hugo Boss ambassador is still in the gym staying fit, and he has the pics to prove it.

Taking to Instagram, the former One Directioner showed off his impressive trap bar deadlift, stacked with 10 plates. Our guess? 120kg plus.

“Back to gym today,” he captioned the footage and photo. “After finishing all my @hugo_official shoots I took a little time off ate some bad food and did a little partying… as my good friend @antmiddleton would say ‘use rest as a weapon'”

In between his big compound exercises, Payne spent time on the dip bar showing off his shredded core and strong triceps.

In June, we spoke to Payne, where opened up about the “toxic” culture of touring all the time and the effect it had on his health.

“When you’re doing hundreds and hundreds of [concerts] and it’s the same 22 songs at the same time every single day, even if you’re not happy, you’ve got to go out there,” he told Men’s Health at the time.

“It’s almost like putting the Disney costume on before you step up on stage and underneath the Disney costume I was pissed quite a lot of the time because there was no other way to get your head around what was going on. I mean it was fun. We had an absolute blast but there were certain parts of it where it just got a little bit toxic.”
